High-risk pregnancy
A high-risk pregnancy brought safely to term
Her pregnancy was complicated by hypertension and pre-eclampsia, with concern for fetal growth restriction.
The clinic kept mother and baby under close watch: regular blood-pressure and laboratory assessment, serial growth scans and Doppler studies, antihypertensive treatment when indicated, and careful timing of the delivery.
The pregnancy continued safely to 37 weeks, followed by the delivery of a healthy baby girl. The family preferred not to share her name.
